Chomolhari Trek

Chomolhari Trek is an eventual purpose for the Himalayan expert. Day 01: Arrive at Paro
On the first day you will arrive at Paro, offering beautiful inspection of mountains and landscapes. Upon your arrival and after visa formalities you will be received by the representative staff and guide. Then, from the airport you will be transferred into the hotel discussing the detail itinerary. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Paro
From Paro, completing all the remaining official formalities you will set out for the sightseeing in Paro. In an early morning you will take a drive to Drukgyal Dzong, travelling 18km. then, you will visit to observe the Ta Dzong Museum and Rinpung Dzong and the local Bazaar that are present in Paro Valley. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Trek to Shana Camp (2,890m)
The trek carry on the Eastern part of the river, quietly throughout the forests lively with several birds and vibrant, highlighted butterfly. After arriving at Gunitsawa, you can view the school and shops that are providing the trekking permit. Walking 20 minutes in the forest will definitely view the camp with the huge opening field at Shana Camp (2,890m). At the Shana Camp, will peek Jo Drakey and additional peaks. Stay overnight in a tented camp.

Day 04:  Trek to Thanthangkha (3,800m) 22 km
On the following day you will start to trek from Shana Camp to Soi Thangthangkha. The trail again follows the Pachu River ascending through pine, oak and spruce forest. Then, in the evening you will serve near a wooden bridge. The camp is at an altitude of 3800 meters near a stone shelter after walking 7 to 8 hours. Stay overnight in a tented camp.

Day 05: Trek to Jangothang (4,050m) 17 km
From Jangothang you will move to Jangothang on the 5th day of the tour taking 17 kilometer. You will be ascending bit by bit for a while until you get to an army camp. Then going behind the river over tree line with eye-catching views of the nearby peaks will make you happy. An effortless walk will make you to Jangothang with an altitude of 4050 meters. The wonderful observation of Chomolhari (7320 m) and Jichu Drake (6900 m) is so magical. Those mountains are considered as virgin peaks. Hiking 4 to 5 hours will take you to Jangothang. Stay overnight in a tented camp.
 
Day 06: Rest at Jagothang
Moving ahead from Jagothang you will take some time to take rest and explore around the surrounding of Jangothang by visiting the areas like Tshophu Lake, Yakherders. But this is not obligatory if you are feeling tired then you can take rest throughout the day. Stay overnight stay in a tented camp.

Day 07: Trek to Lingshi (4,100m) 21 km
Jangothang to Lingshi covers 21 kilometer. The trail follows the watercourse for half hour and passes the bridge to the right surface. Ascending the edge and enjoying the spectacular vision of Chomolhari, Jichu Drake and Tshrim Khang mountains, you will hike the extensive unbolt valley, approaching crossways herds of blue sheep. The go up to the Nyele La Pass (4700 m) is not too hard and the inspection is incredible. Following the bypass it’s a regular go down during the valley with stunning sight on every area. Approaching the camp you will perceive the Lingshi Dzong (4,100m), hovering ahead of a hill with powerful view of the valley by walking 6 to 7 hours. Stay overnight in a tented camp.

Day 08: Trek to Shodu (3,750m) 22 km
On the 8th day you will trek to Shodu (3,750m) from Lingshi by walking for 7 to 8 hours. This is the mainly complex day so you have to begin it early on. The start on pace opposing the Dzong slowly throughout the valley until the stiff mount to Yale La Pass (4950 m), which is the uppermost spot of the trek. The panoramic observations of Mt.Chomolhari, Jichu Drake and Tshrim Gang are magnificent. Finishing the pass it’s a lengthy descent. Stay overnight in a tented camp.

Day 09: Trek to Barshong (3,500m) 14 km
Following the trail you will arrive to Barshong (3500m), covering 14 kilo meter and seizing 4 to 5 hours from Shodu. The pathway goes after the Thimchu River down warding all the way through the forest of Pine, Rhododendron and Juniper and pine. The outlook of the cliff in front of rocks and waterfalls are dazzling. The trail regularly comes up to Barshong Dzong getting the camp. Stay overnight in a tented camp.

Day 10: Trek to Dodina and drive to Thimpu 22 km
The trail will lead you to Dodina from Barshong. The trail moves downward for a while combining the Thimchu river and steadily rising and sliding in the course of thick pine forest and bamboo. Starting Dolemkencho, the trail slide down all the way to Dodina where the coach will stay for your come back. The trek will end after walking 7 to 8 hours of walking and taking a drive to Thimphu covering 22 kilometer. You will travel for nearly 1 and half an hour. Stay overnight in hotel.

Day 11: Drive to Paro
Arriving at Thimphu you will again return to Paro. You have still some time to sightseeing in the Paro. So, make use of the time and try to find out as much as you can upon your stay at Bhutan. The more you learn about Paro the more it has to offer. Then, returning in hotel you will pack your back so you can check out from the hotel in time. Stay overnight in hotel.

Day 12: Departure!!!!
This is the day where you will end Chomolhari Trek package. On this day you will be transferred into the airport from where you can take a flight towards your hometown or can move for next destination.

Just fantastic.Osho vision made my dream of Treking in the Himalayas come true.The company were professional and my guide Kapil KC was nothing short of fantastic.He was kind,considerate and clever.I enjoyed his company and he was the guide I always used.I ended up doing four treks with the company over 10 weeks including Everest and the Annapurna trek.It is fair to say that this is a reflection of how highly I rated the company and my guide.I apologise for the delay in posting this .However I am still in contact with Kapil as we remain friends.He still works for the company and as do many individuals.I am confident that their standards will still remain the same.Avoid cheaper companies.You do not want to be stuck on a trek in the world's highest mountains with a dodgy company!!Some are.

“Beyond expectations” W e organised our 3 week adventure around Nepal with Dineash from Osho Vision Treks. In our initial meeting he listened to our requests & designed a tour according to our wishes. Our trip included a comfortable Scorpio car, a proficient courteous driver (Dipak) sightseeing around Kathmandu & the Kathmandu Valley, a 2 day rafting trip on the Trishuli river, Pokhara, a soft 2 day trek in the foothills of the Annapurnas, Lumbini, a 3 night 4 day package in the Royal Chitwan National Park, Nagarkot, Dhuulikhel and back to Kathmandu. Our trip included all hotels & breakfasts & full board when rafting & at Chitwan. Most of our accommodation was excellent. Dipak was a great driver, always on time & an extremely safe driver. Dineash rang everyday to check all was well on our trip. We had an absolutely fantastic time in Nepal thanks to Dineash & his team. I would highly recommend his services to one & all.
