Day 01–Arrival in Kathmandu
Our representatives will be there at the Airport to receive and welcome you upon your arrival at the International Airport of Kathmandu. You will then be transferred to the hotel where you will be briefed in short about the itinerary package. The rest of the time, you will be spending at the hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
The second day you will be sightseeing around the Capital city of Kathmandu and visit some of the important temples and monuments some of which have also been enlisted in the UNESCO’s World Heritage list. You will visit the Hindu temple of Pashupatinath which is one of holiest Hindu shrines. Also, you will visit Boudhanath Stupa which is one of the largest Buddhist Stupas in the world. You can also visit the Swyambhunath, built around 2000 years ago, and also the Durbar Squares of the three cities inside Kathmandu Valley.. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 03: Flight to Lukla (2,805m), trek to Phakding (2,610m)
After having breakfast in the morning, you will take 30 minutes of scenic flight from Kathmandu, through the mountains to the Tenzing- Hilary Airport at Lukla. Though the Airport is considered as one of the most dangerous airports in the world, flight to Lukla will be full of adventure and thrill. The real trekking then starts from Lukla when you start hiking from Lukla to the nearby village of Phakding. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Phakding.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
The trail continues along the Dudh Koshi River before climbing up the way through Himalayan Pine and Deodar Cedar forests to make it to Namche Bazaar, the business and trading hub of Everest Region. Namche used to be and still is a crucial place for trade between the traders of Tibet and Nepal. Items like salt, dried meat and other consumable goods have been sold and bought in Namche over the years. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Namche.
Day 05: Rest and acclimatization day
The fifth day is set aside for acclimatization in Namche as acclimatizing to the changing altitude and the environmental condition is very important during Everest trekking. A day of acclimatization and rest will prepare your body well for the upcoming challenge in the trekking. Trekking experts suggest to continue having mild walk rather than to stop completing in the name of rest. We will have casual walk through the busy market area of Namche and then talk with the local Sherpa people of Namche. If you feel like exploring more, you can even pay a brief visit to the Khumjung Village which offers one of the best views of Everest and other mountains.
Day 06: Trek to Dole (4,210m)
On the 6th day you will ascend to Dole (4,210m) from Namche Bazaar after taking a breakfast. You can dig up obvious observation of snow-white peaks, vegetations and mountains. You can examine the way of living and traditions. The native are earning their livelihood from farming and lodging. The trek takes 5 hours to get to Dole from Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Day 07: Trek to Machhermo (4480m)
Crossing Dole, you will be headed to Mochermo after ascending from Dole. Machhermo is a significant place to trek as it offers a way to Gokyo Lake. On the way you can search out brilliant view of the valleys. The total time that it takes to arrive at Machhermo is 6 hours. Ngozumpa Glacier is one of the main destinations which will attract you as it is the world’s second leading glaciers. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Day 08: Trek to Gokyo Lake (4,750m)
The trail climbs a hill for an excellent view comprising the valley and Kengtega Cho Oyu descending into a river. Again you will climb steeply up in the terminal moraine of the glacier Ngozumpz. A few lakes are on the way and finally you reach Gokyo (4,750 m), which is the collection of stone houses and walls of grasses on the shores of the lake. The views of the mountains in the Gokyo region are spectacular.. Overnight stay in a tented camp.
Day 09: Excursion to Gokyo Peak (5,350m) and back to Gokyo Lake
Day 9th is an important day as you will move to an excursion to Gokyo Peak (5,350m) from Gokyo Lake. This is the place from where you can have a magnificent view of the high peaks, from west to east. The speed of the trek is speedy as after accomplishing an excursion you will be back to Gokyo Lake which will consumes time. Overnight stay in a tented camp.
Day 10: Trek to Thagnak (4700m)
On the 10th day you will move for the trek to Thagna (4700m) after ascending certain elevation. From Gokyo Lake you will make a route to Thagna after having a breakfast. Arriving at Thagna you will get to observe the mountains which are covered with snow. Finishing the trek you will take some time as you will be trekking to Chola Pass on the following day. Overnight stay in a tented camp.
Day 11: Trek to Chola Pass (5350m) and trek down to Dzongla (4830m)
On the 11th day you will be heading from Thangnak to Cho La Pass (5330m). The trek throughout the Cho La Pass (5,330 m), is incredibly complicated route and demands some previous mountaineering skill with well equipped. This is an authentic request to hold warm clothing and other essential things. You will find a pathway between astound, besides the icefall. Overnight stay at a tented camp.
Day 12: Trek to Lobuche (4910m)
On the 12th day you will move to Lobuche (4910m) from Chola Pass. As you start to downfall you will view the trail that shows the way progressively to Lobuche (4910m), taking 4 ½ hours. In the meantime you will perceive the Dughla Lake through the fine-looking panorama. Overnight stay at a tented camp.
Day 13: Trek to Gorakshep (5,190 m) and hike to Everest Base Camp (5365m) and back to Gorakshep
Similarly, 13th day is another busy day where you will trek to Gorakshep (5,190m) covering 4 ½ hours. Likewise you will set up to trek the Everest Base Camp (5,365m) by moving ahead at Kala Patthar (5545m). It will again offer the unbelievable views of Everest and the Everest Base Camp. After that you will again reverse to the Gorakshep. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Day 14: Trek to Kalapatthar (5545m), back to Pheriche
The trek to Kalapattahr (5545m) takes 6 ½ hours. So, you will be ascending in an early morning so that you can view an amazing sunrise above the mountains. Kalapatthar will provide as opportunity to observe the nice views of Mount Everest along with several other Mountains including Mount Pumori. From Kalapatthar you will be back to Pheriche. It is said that this town is known as story town. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Day 15: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m)
On the 15th day you will hike down the hillside enclosed with Rhododendrons and junipers. The trail goes down to Phunki Thanga, from where the trail pass during the pine forests offering the chance to perceive wildlife such as mountain goats, Snow Leopard and colorful pheasants. Lastly you reached at Namche Bazaar (3440m). Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Day 16: Trek to Lukla (2805m)
On the 16th day you will trek to Lukla (2805m) from Namche Bazaar. Lukla is naturally beautiful place so, you will enjoy after the trek to Lukla. Plus you will enjoy a beautiful and trouble-free amble by viewing the Kusum Kangaru, blue pine next to Rhododendron forest .This is the last day of the trek in a bustling city so enjoy dinner with the team members. Overnight stay at a guest house.
Day 17: Flight to Kathmandu
On the 17th day you will be back from Lukla to Kathmandu enchanting the flight. From Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be transferred into a hotel where you can take some rest and have some sound nap. Overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 18: Free day
This is your free day so, there is no hard and fast rule but then if you wish to utilize even the free day then, you can visit Zoo, Botanical garden or Garden of Dream these are some attraction places and your free day will be meaningful too. You will be served a farewell dinner there at the Hotel at night in the presence of our entire team. If you are lucky, you will also be able to get the glimpse of Nepali cultural dance.
Day 19: Departure!!!!
This is formally the last day where you will check out from the hotel and will be transferred into Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu from the respective staff of the hotel. From there it all up to you whether you want to return your hometown or wish to move for the next trek.
