Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival:
Representative from Osho Vision Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. will receive you from Tribhuvan International Airport and then you will be transferred to the hotel where you will be briefly explained about your trekking package.
Day 02: Trek preparation and sightseeing in Kathmandu:
Guided sightseeing tour is offered to you on the second day. Visits include the UNESCO enlisted World Heritage Sites of Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath (also known as Monkey Temple), Bouddhanath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Day 03: Fly or drive to Pokhara (910m) 6hrs:
25 minutes of pleasant flight over mountains will shift us from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Alternatively, we can take drive through Prithvi Highway with the views of Trishuli and Marshyangdi Rivers for about 5hours to reach to the beautiful Lake City of Pokhara where we will be staying in hotel for the night.
Day0 4: Fly to Jomsom (2700m) and Trek to Kagbeni: (2800m) 3hrs
Flying northwest from Pokhara, we will make it to Jomsom which is the hub of Mustang Region. Our trekking begins at Jomsom as we move along the trail that offers the spectacular views of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Dhampus and Tukuche mountains to arrive at Kagbeni, the gateway to Upper Mustang.
Day 05: Trek to Chele (3110m) 6hrs:
Continuing our walk through the eastern bank of Kaligandaki River, we will ascend uphill to reach Tangbe Village. Walking past the narrow alleys and fields, we will choose the path with a view of Nilgiri peak to arrive at Chhusang Village. Leaving Kali Gandaki Valley, we will climb the hill to make it to the village of Chele.
Day 06: Trek to Geling (3500m) 6hrs:
The trail escalates uphill through the dry lands before lowering down through chortens to village of Samar. Climbing further through the ridge, we will then descend to the river. Later, we will climb up the ridge at 3800m and continue our trekking along Ramchung Cave to Syangboche. We will then cross the pass and take gentle descent to Village of Geling.
Day 07: Trek to Charang (3620m): 4hrs
Today’s trail proceeds through the Tibetan styled local houses to Nyi Pass. We will then lower down to Tangmar Chu River and ascend another pass before lowering down to Charang Village where we will be staying overnight.
Day08: Trek to Lo- Manthang (3840m):3hrs
From Charang Village, we will follow the raised path to Lo Gekar Gompa which is one of the oldest Gompa of Nepal. Leaving Lo Gekar, we will undergo through some ups and downs to arrive at a ridge which allows the first glimpse of the fortified city of Lo. Taking a subtle descent, we will climb through another plateau to reach Lo-Manthang.
Day09: Rest day and sightseeing in Lo-Manthang:
There are plenty of sites worthy visiting around Lo- Manthang. Some of the notable sites include Namgyal Gompa and Tingkhar Village. Namgyal Gompa exists just 2 hours walking distance far from Lo while Tingkhar is the last major village existing in North West of Lomanthang.
Day10: Trek to Drakmar:
The trail on 10th day continues past the wish fulfiller-Gyokar Gompa which according to Locals was established more than 1200 years ago. After a short visit to Gyokar Gompa, we will choose the steep path that proceeds through valley to a meadow. We will then descend to Drakmar.
Day11: Trek to Ghiling:
Walking all the way through the dusty and windy road will bring us to Ghiling. Although major chunk of Ghiling is barren, the spectacular views of Mount Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri will make the trekking more enthralling.
Day12: Trek to Chele:
Leaving Ghiling behind, we will retrace the route back for about 5hours to arrive at Chele where we will be staying overnight.
Day13: Trek to Kagbeni and to Jomsom:
The pleasant trekking ends on the 13th day as we make our way through Jharkot Village and continue walking through the southern border of the region to arrive at Kagbeni. Leaving Kagbeni, we will then continue our walk along the bank of Kali Gandaki River to arrive at Jomsom where we will be staying overnight.
Day14: Fly back to Pokhara:
It takes 20minutes of scenic flight to shift us to Pokhara during which we will be enjoying the views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. Once we return back to Pokhara, we will take rest in a hotel.
Day15: Free day in Pokhara:
We will take much needed rest. Shopping around the markets in Pokhara is wonderful pass time activity. Bicycles and motorcycles are available on hire if you feel like extra adventurous. Boating at Phewa Lake especially in the evening is a fine idea.
Day16: Drive or take a flight back to Kathmandu:
We can either take 25-minute flight or 6 hours of driving to return back to Kathmandu. Once we arrive at Kathmandu, we will head back to the hotel. You will be served a farewell dinner there at the Hotel at night in the presence of our entire team. If you are lucky, you will also be able to get the glimpse of Nepali cultural dance.
Day 17: Departure:
Our representative will help you in last moment preparation. You will then be driven back to Tribhuvan International Airport. A flight from TIA will take you to your next desired destination.
